We are overwhelmed by the great interest in the WU Ball 2025 and say THANK YOU! The WU Ball 2025 is completely sold out, the entire ticket contingent has been exhausted. For this reason, there will be no box office. However, tables can of course still be reserved, but valid tickets must already be available. Table reservations without tickets are not possible and do not replace tickets!

The ticket sale for the WU Ball starts in November. As the WU Ball is traditionally sold out very quickly, it is advisable to reserve tickets and seats on time!

A maximum of 4 student tickets can be purchased per order. Please note: When entering the Hofburg, an official student ID must also be presented for each student card. Access will be denied without exception without a student card. The student ticket is also valid for foreign students with an ISIC card, pupils, military service and community service with the respective ID.

With your WU employee ID or a current employer confirmation, you and your companion will each receive a ball ticket at the discounted employee price of € 72 each. The required voucher code can be requested at office@wuball.at.

Notes

Our ticket and table booking system will be available from November. If you buy your tickets via our advance booking system, you will receive them comfortably as a Print@Home version. Please print them out and bring them with you on the evening of the ball.
You will need an admission ticket to attend the WU Ball. An admission ticket does not include a seat.
A seat reservation does NOT replace the admission ticket. In any case, you will need an admission ticket, which must be purchased separately.
It is not possible to cancel or rebook tickets or seats that have been purchased.
Guests with a valid admission ticket are subject to the house rules.
The QR code is only valid once and is invalidated the first time it is scanned at the entrance. Copied or repeatedly printed tickets therefore do not allow access. When leaving the event, this ticket loses its validity and therefore does not authorise repeated entry. The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission to the event to all persons with ball tickets with an identical QR code.
Film and sound recordings as well as photos will be made during the ball, and by attending the event you agree to the subsequent use of these.
It is not permitted to bring any food or drink with you.
Smoking prohibition: The general smoking prohibition of § 13 of the Tobacco Act, which applies to public places, applies to the entire premises of the Vienna Hofburg. Smoking is therefore ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED in all rooms (except for the demarcated outdoor area to the right in front of the main entrance) - e-cigarettes and similar items are also not permitted.
