We are overwhelmed by the great interest in the WU Ball 2026 and say THANK YOU! The WU Ball 2026 is completely sold out, the entire ticket contingent has been exhausted.
For this reason, there will be no box office sales. However, tables can of course be reserved again with immediate effect. Valid tickets must already be available for this purpose. Table reservations without tickets are not possible and do not replace tickets!
Update ticket sale

In order to ensure fair and reliable sales, ticket sales will continue in stages today, 6 November 2025:
From 4 p.m.: Student tickets and large ball tickets
– Student tickets available: 900
– Large ball tickets available: 250
From 5 p.m.: Tickets with code entry (alumni, EA, employees)
– Available alumni, EA & WU employee tickets: 250
– Participants in the Bank Austria account promotion are excluded from the quota.
Codes can only be entered after 5 p.m.

The codes for the alumni cards will be sent by WU Alumni Services and the WU Executive Academy in good time before the sales start. -
Tickets for Students € 60,-
A maximum of two student tickets may be purchased per order (except for bundle sales on 30 October 2025: maximum of four student tickets per order). Please note: Upon admission to the Hofburg, an official student ID must be presented for each student ticket. Without this, admission will be denied without exception. The student ticket is also valid for foreign students with an ISIC card, school pupils, and those performing military or civilian service with the relevant proof.

Notes
- Our advance ticket and table booking system will be available from October 30, 2025. If you buy your tickets via our advance booking system, you will receive them comfortably as a Print@Home version. Please print them out and bring them with you on the evening of the ball.
- A seat reservation does NOT replace the admission ticket. In any case, you will need an admission ticket, which must be purchased separately.
- It is not possible to cancel or rebook tickets or seats that have been purchased.
- An official resale platform for the WU Ball 2026 has been set up on ticketswap. Only tickets purchased through this platform can be guaranteed to be valid. We strongly advise against selling or purchasing tickets through other third-party sellers.
- You will need an admission ticket to attend the WU Ball. An admission ticket does not include a seat.
- The QR code is only valid once and is invalidated the first time it is scanned at the entrance. Copied or repeatedly printed tickets therefore do not allow access. When leaving the event, this ticket loses its validity and therefore does not authorise repeated entry. The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission to the event to all persons with ball tickets with an identical QR code.
- Guests with a valid admission ticket are subject to the house rules.
- Film and sound recordings as well as photos will be made during the ball, and by attending the event you agree to the subsequent use of these.
- It is not permitted to bring any food or drink with you.
- Smoking prohibition: The general smoking prohibition of § 13 of the Tobacco Act, which applies to public places, applies to the entire premises of the Vienna Hofburg. Smoking is therefore ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED in all rooms (except for the demarcated outdoor area to the right in front of the main entrance) - e-cigarettes and similar items are also not permitted.
